Newsletter - 11th July 2025

Dear Parents

Year 6 SATs

Year 6 excelled with a combined maths, reading and writing score of 73% showing all the preparation and hard work has paid off and set them up well for secondary school. We are very proud of their attitude and mature approach which will hold them in good stead in secondary school.

Apologies to Year 4

The Multiplication Tables Check (MTCs) were 63% and not 52% as I said last week – even better! Well done children. You all worked hard and will be super, fluent mathematicians.

World Dance Championships

Congratulations, Lois, Lola, Milly and Ella who were amazing at the World Dance Championships in Spain recently. They came first and are the World Champions! Incredible!!

A Polite Reminder Regarding SENCO Referrals

We kindly ask parents to refrain from sending last-minute referrals to Mrs Redden, our SENCO. As mentioned in a recent newsletter, she does not have the capacity to process any additional referrals this term.

Any new parent referrals received from this point forward will be added to the waiting list for next term.

We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us manage this process effectively.

Friends Tea Towels

A big thank you to the wonderful Friends who haven’t stopped all year and have organised a fantastic project for the children—creating personalised class tea towels!

Every home will look fabulous with a tea towel featuring your child’s artwork – a perfect keepsake and a lovely way to remember the school year.

Don’t forget to purchase yours soon via the email address shared in the Friends ParentMail!

Nursery Play and Stay

I was lucky enough to have an invite to the Nursery Play and Stay afternoon. It was glorious weather, and the children were excited to show their families around the garden and decorate the biscuits they made earlier in the week. One Grandparent who has seen several grandchildren go through Bridgewater commented on the lovely family feel and atmosphere that has always permeated through the school, which was lovely to hear.

Have a great weekend
